[Music]
Opera: Above all other music, I am pursuing a career in opera. Outside of this pursuit, I am also in a burgeoning vocal ensemble (unnamed as of yet). I also enjoy Jazz and Musical Theater on occasion. Outside of these, I have begun the lengthy process of writing my own music, in a storybook style. I am at least proficient enough on the piano, and learning guitar. Music is what makes my life complete, and I wouldn't quit singing for all the monies in the world. My favorite music eras are Baroque, Bel Canto, Romantic, and some 20th Century.

[Spirituality]
I have faith in God. I have nothing against God, or what God does, or what goes on with what revolves around this entity's universe. I have, so far, everything against religion, what it tried to teach me, and what it has taught countless people. There are few who can sanely decipher the Bible, and Christianity, or whatever God-based religion they believe in. I enjoy conversation with them, and they come dangerously close to convincing me of religion again. Then some yahoo goes and spoils the moment, and I am here again.

I don't know where I belong in the "pagan" world, or if I even belong there. I have aspects of my spiritual core that I do not share with others, due to controversy and the banality of idiots, but it feels like it all relates back to God. I try not to think about it. I just go with whatever flow manifests itself. If that bothers others, that's fine with me.

[Personality]
I have a short fuse, and a big stick. I can be very kind, or very vicious. If this does not appeal to others, then they probably shouldn't add me. Do not blame me, because you expected too much of a stranger. I expect very little of humanity, and that keeps me content.

I have a short fuse, partially due to my Empathy. I pretty much never know when my emotions are my own, or when somebody is just projecting through me. I'm working on it, so calm the fuck down, and shut the fuck up.

[The Emo Craze]
Also, Emo applies to Emotional Hardcore. It applies to a style of music and dress that involves hard rock music, and sappy, emotional lyrics. Those who claim the "scene" tend to dye their hair too much, wear bad make-up, wear too-tight-for-my-nuts jeans, write worse poetry than Goths, and pretend to kill themselves every five minutes. They also think it's "hardcore" to pretend like they're bisexual.

I am not Emo. I do none of the above, nor do I listen to Emo. I am moderately depressed. This is why I actually have a LJ. LJ is for people who want to yell about stupid shit, to a small audience of people who don't actually have to read anything you write. Likewise, you don't have to read their shit, either. People who inaccurately label someone "Emo" do so, because their small minds are too feeble to come up with a better insult.

When somebody slips up and calls me "emo", I win. You lose. Thanks for playing the "basic working knowledge of the English language and its slang" game.
